Middag en ek soek bietjie raad asseblief. Ek gaan na die Damme oor 2 weke en wil weet waar is die hengel spots daar. Enige inligting sal waardeer word.Ons voertuig gaan by die karavaan parking geparkeer word en daarvandaan moet ons loop.As U nie hier wil kommentaar wil lewer nie kontak my op 0748777665 of by mongie@iburst.co.za     Dankie .

these pics show the spots we have fished De Dam over many years with some measure of success.

infront of left camp i also witnessed some murder of belman - but this was only once. maybe it happens frequently but we fish on right camp side more.

the baai good bet for mixed bag. especially at night when rocks not too forgiving.

these are within walking distance from the camps. if you had 4x4 there is more spots over the hill too.

primary wind for De Dam is SE.

yep.. people swim there too... close to the entrance. to the left of the baai... facing the water is long stretch of beach running all the way to Rietfontein. Hardly see people swimming here though.

there is also another productive baai to the far right, past the rocks i showed in the pics... called Peerboom Baai... heard of some nice elf runs there over the years. Don't fish it often, but one time got picked up by something that ran me off.
